My Story

​Welcome to Nalea Stories!

I'm a surface pattern designer, illustrator, and lifelong creative originally from Greece, now living in the Netherlands. My work is inspired by the little moments that often go unnoticed, like peaceful walks through nature, treasured memories, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.

Creativity has always been part of who I am. From studying interior architecture and decorative arts to playing the piano, exploring different crafts, and discovering new ways to express myself, I've always believed that inspiration can be found almost anywhere.

Living between cultures has shaped the way I see the world. It has taught me to appreciate different perspectives, embrace curiosity, and find beauty in both familiar places and new beginnings. Those experiences naturally find their way into my designs.

Through Nalea Stories, I create timeless, nature-inspired patterns and illustrations for fabric, stationery, home décor, and other thoughtfully crafted products. My hope is that each design tells a gentle story and brings a sense of warmth, calm, and connection to the people who discover it.

When I'm not designing, you'll probably find me playing the piano or ukulele, swimming, reading a good book, walking in nature, or trying yet another creative hobby, because I believe that living a creative life is just as important as creating beautiful art.
